Elizabeth graduated from the Art in Merchandising program at Langara College in Vancouver, B.C. in 1981. For ten years she worked in visual presentation for several large Canadian and American retailers. She then returned to Langara to teach the Visual Presentation Program and remained there for seven years. In 1999 Elizabeth moved to San Diego with her husband and three young children and took her first watercolour class. She has been painting ever since.
Elizabeth has been teaching watercolour for the District of West Vancouver for seven years and considers it one of her most creative outlets. In recent years she has turned her attention back to commercial design as well as painting and drawing. She also enjoys designing fabrics and working with other mediums. Her artwork is featured on tea towels, clothing and cards.
